An action-oriented, pioneering institution for utilizing New Media

The New Media Certificate provided by the New Media Institute at UGA has been monumental for my life. As a computer science major, the development track for the certificate has blended perfectly with my schedule and provided me great insights for what lies ahead. My journey with the NMI began by employing my developer skills to program on/with various platforms, which has greatly expanded my knowledge and ability to cross platform develop.

Previously, most of my work had been creating Java and C++ applications in software development and designing and implementing responsive web pages in web development. While these courses have taught me many great skills, like developing with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MySQL, etc., the NMI Industries class has taught me skills to succeed at life. Skills that encompass managing my personal finances to growing my own freelance business.
